We are rapidly running out of space to terraform! It today's episode I wanted to tackle another corner of the map and at the same time address one of my colonies remaining problems: power.

Today, half of the colonies power comes from windmills and the other half comes from water wheels. The problem is, the water wheels only run after we have finished filling up all of our water storage. And as we've increased the amount of land that we are irrigating, our point of getting excess water is coming later and later in the good season. This is leaving us with a power deficient and slowing down overall production.

Normally I would solve this with a bad-water powerplant, but with Folktail I don't have reliable way to produce bad water all the time. Instead, I'm going to opt for a re-circulating system where I recycle existing water and re-use it over and over to run water wheels. Due to some quirks in the math of the game, this setup is able to impossibly able to produce more power than it consumes!
